Section A4 - From Bozen/Bolzano to Meran/Merano
This section leaves the province capital of Bozen/Bolzano behind following the Isarco River and then the Adige River towards Kalterer See lake. Then onwards from idyllic Kalterer See lake past Schloss Sigmundskron castle in the direction of Lana. From here it's not much further to the relaxing destination of the spa town of Meran/Meran.
A laid-back splashing of streams and a lively, vivacious mix of the German and Italian languages as well as Tyrolean and Italian culture is what sets the wonderful capital of South Tyrol apart from other places.
Take a deep breath and let the clear, healing air of Meran/Merano enter your lungs. You can feel the spirit of the spa town with every breath.
