TOWNS
The seven towns in South Tyrol that have the South Tyrol Cycle Path passing through them have long, culturally-rich and eventful histories, yet have kept their identities. Lots of these medieval towns enjoy the benefits of having fortresses, cloisters and castles nearby. Examples include Reifenstein and Sprechenstein fortresses near Sterzing/Vipiteno, as well as the Säben Cloister at Klausen/Chiusa. You'll find lots to see in the various towns all year round, as it's not just their authentic atmosphere, but the variety of events held in these towns that will make for an unforgettable experience!
